Years later, Mel completed Digital Cinematography, Editing and Film at UCLA; Contemporary Art at Brandeis University; and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Studies (Humanities and Sciences) at Boston University, MA., USA, with an almost perfect grade point average of 3.9, and awarded with the highest honor of Summa Cum Laude.
